Basic variable home loan – This is a home loan with unlimited extra payments, minus the ongoing fees. Rates include 1.94% per annum discount for 2 years from loan settlement reverting to a 1.54% per annum discount thereafter.

Fixed rate home loan – You can lock in your rate and repayment for 1-5 years, for all or part of your loan as well as the option to package your loan, 2-year fixed loan rate.

Variable loan with offset – There’s a 100% offset discount with unlimited extra repayments as well as the option to package your loan.

How to apply for a home loan

Westpac lite card – This credit card comes with the lowest purchase rate, as well as no fees on foreign transactions. It has a $500 minimum credit limit and $4,000 maximum credit limit. $9 monthly card fee, up to 45 days interest free on purchases.

Low annual fee card – This credit card can help you lower costs if you plan to pay off your balance in full settlement each month. $0 card fee for the first year, $30 ongoing annual card fee.

Personal loan
