Ship collision in Pakistan 21 containers submerged into the water
Mayhem has befallen Pakistan as two loaded Cargos colluded in its water ways to send 21 containers into the water helplessly. This has led to Karachi Port operations being halted at the moment after the incident on Monday.
The collision involves a German based company Hapag Lloyd ship which was on its way out of the port but suddenly hits an anchored vessel fastened by the side, resulting in containers being submerged into the sea.
It has not been ascertained what actually caused the mishap. Containers filled with imported cars are the recorded damages, but the terminal cranes are very sound and in good condition.
The port has stopped operations as a result, Karachi Port is located on South Asia and the largest and busiest sea Port that handles the nations major Cargo duties
