Keystone Bank to train undergraduates in Banking career

Keystone Bank to train undergraduates in Banking career. As part of it’s commitment to enhancing career prospect amongst Nigerian undergraduates Keystone Bank Limited has designed a project to educate and sensitize students in tertiary institutions, who want to tow their career path in Banking industry.

Their preference has been narrowed down to undergraduates who are in their third year of study. The programme is aimed at impacting knowledge, development and acquiring  skills which are prerequisite to their chosen career and task ahead.

The Bank has however States through it’s Group Managing Director Mr Obeahon Ohiwerei, that the scheme will be a day event slated for March 28 being Wednesday at the Keystone Bank learning academy located at¬† Victoria Ireland Lagos.

Target discussion will feature; On the job training, team building exercise and networking. Resource persons will include Bank professionals who will as well serve as role models.

According to the Group Managing Director Mr Obeawon, “The platform will enhance an opportunity for young undergraduates in the Nigerian tertiary institutions to be impacted right by existing professionals towards moulding and building a successful career path”.

He continued “As a financial institution, we understand the role of the young youths in carving and building a robust economy to as well stimulate the growth of the Nation, they are the future hope of the nation , hence we want to catch them young”.

On how to participate in the programme he said “Interested applicants on track for a second class degree or above, with interest in pursuing career within the financial institution are to write an essay of not fewer than 250 words on why they should be selected for the opportunity.”

“The essay should include the following ; personal information, school and year of study, course detail and any relevant work experience. The essay should be conving and written impressively, should as well be sent to corpcom@keystonebankng.com.”
