You will be given a token request form to fill after which your account will be debited with transaction charge or the token.

Having gone through this process, you will receive a new hardware token, then proceed for activation of same token before it can be used.

How to activate a new GTBank token

  • Log on to your GTBank internet banking platform, in the column provided, your account number must serve as your username while you choose a unique password.
  • Check the left end of the screen and select settings
  • On the token ID column, provide the token ID you received from the bank, this can be traced at the back of your token.
  • You will receive an SMS, indicating you’ve completed acknowledgement process.
  • You can now use your token to process transactions after 24 hours of this activation.
