First bank reaffirms commitment to SMEs and agricultural growth in Nigeria

SMEs and agricultural growth – First bank Group Head, marketing and corporate communications , Mrs Folake Ani-Mumuney has restated the commitment of the bank towards enhancing the growth and development of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the country.

This was made known during the fourth edition of Fiesta Flavours in Lagos.

According to NAN, Fiesta Flavours is a food and beverage fair that provides an avenue for participants to fully experience the entertainment, art and business food.

The aim of the Fiesta is to connect SMEs and their intending customers, with a major target of boosting sales, exposure and business growth.

According to Mumuney: “SMEs are critical to the development of nation’s economy and should be supported by all stakeholders for national interest.

Mrs Yewande Zacchesus, the Chief Executive officer, Eventful Ltd, noted that the platform provides the SMEs and their customers an environment to promote their business.

According to her, those who had taken their businesses online are making great impact already, while impacting positively on the economy as well.

Managing Director Perception Media, Mrs Olisa Adibua said the platform has not only help a showcase in the local market, but in the international scene.

Commenting, Mrs Arinola Shobande, Head, Corporate Communications, Enyo Retail and supply Ltd said that the company was at the fair to educate consumers about standards  of gas cylinder and supply.
